St Margarets Fayre is once again welcoming the historical re-enactment display offered by Y Ddraig Vikings. If re-enactmemnts are something you have enjoyed watching and participating in over recent years, don't miss out because this is THE LAST OPPORTUNITY for a little while!!!!
Since landing on the Eastern Shores in the 1980s, the embattled longship oarsmen of Y Ddraig have been striving to establish their camp, feed their women and teach their skills to all that will take note. Wandering the paths of their encampment, you can try on some armour and helmets, learn to prepare a meal fit for a viking warrior, accessorise with the latest in ladies viking jewellery or help a craftsman repair the armour and weapons that keep his tribe safe.
In the main ring, you will have the chance to learn some warrior battle skills, practise your battle cry and defeat an opposing tribe in true viking style...
Celebrating the fayre's roots will be the long -established vintage vehicle rally, run by the evergreen Tom Sale, with many, many cars, motorcycles, lorries, coaches, machines, commercial vehicles and tractors. Click HERE to take part as an Exhibitor.
